An Urgent Care Clinic in Fairfield CT is currently seeking a licensed Urgent Care Physician to join their growing team!About the **Onsite3-4 shifts per week.1-2 weekend shifts per monthThe Urgent Care Physician **Provide and manage direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses and treatmentPerform therapeutic procedures, such as I&D, splinting, suturing, managing infection, and wound careDocument and chart patient information in line with current policies and proceduresDevelop and implement patient management plans, record progress notes, and assist in provision of continuity of careCommunicate with patients regarding testing results, follow-up care, and additional informationPrescribe pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatment regimens as appropriate to assessed medical conditionsRefer patients to specialists and to relevant patient care components as appropriateOrder diagnostic tests, such as x-ray, electrocardiogram, and laboratory tests, and interpret test results for deviation from normalPerform other duties, as needed****1+ years of experience in an Emergency Department and/or Urgent Care or Primary Care role/settingLicensed to practice in the State of Connecticut Board Eligible / CertifiedYour privacy is important to us.
