Mammography Technologist

Pride Health is hiring a Mammography Technologist to support our clients hospital facility in Marietta, GA 30060. This is a 13 contract-weeks role, with possible extension - open to local and travel.Summary: Performs basic and intermediate screening and diagnostic mammography examinations under the direction of the Radiologist.**Performs breast imaging as well as ultrasound and stereotactic-guided biopsy procedures.Assists in the technical orientation of cross-trained Radiologic Technologists and instructs them in complex or difficult procedures.Operate and maintain mammography equipment according to manufacturer specifications and facility protocols.Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and addressing concerns.Ensure patient comfort and maintain privacy throughout the examination.Position patients properly to capture accurate images.Perform routine quality control checks on imaging equipment.Ensure compliance with state, federal, and organizational safety and imaging regulations (e.g., MQSA, ACR guidelines).Maintain accurate records and documentation for quality assurance purposes.Work closely with radiologists to ensure images meet diagnostic needs.Education/SkillsGraduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or other accepted and approved equivalent requiredExperience1 years Mammo Tech experienceDiagnostic breast scans experienceLicenses, Registrations, or CertificationsRegistered by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiography and Mammography requiredBLS requiredAdditional ** Marietta, GA 30060 8-hour shifts, 8:30 AM - 5 PM (40 hours per week)Contract ** 13 weeksPay *** $55 - $57/hourOffered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.Interested?
