JOB DESCRIPTIONWe are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Medical Coder to join our cardiovascular surgery team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately coding medical procedures and diagnoses related to cardiovascular surgeries, ensuring compliance with all applicable coding guidelines and regulations.REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE***** Certified Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery Coder (CCVTC) or Certified Cardiology Coder (CCC) preferred 1 2. ***** Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical coding, with a focus on cardiovascular surgery 1. ***** Strong understanding of cardiovascular surgery-related medical terminology, anatomy, and pathophysiology 1. ***** Proficient in using coding software and electronic health records (EHR) systems. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. ***** Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with medical staff and other departments. ***** High school diploma or GED required; Associates or Bachelors degree in a related field preferred.NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE- Part A coding experienceDirect Placement ***** ***** $60,000 to $70,000 per year annual salary.
