Evening Pharmacy Supervisor (Full-Time)** Evenings | 2:00 PM - 10:00 PMSalary ** $130,000 - $140,000About the *We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Evening Pharmacy Supervisor to oversee pharmacy operations during evening hours. This leadership position ensures safe, compliant, and efficient medication distribution in a hospital setting serving a culturally diverse and medically underserved population in southern Queens and southwestern Nassau County, New York.The Evening Pharmacy Supervisor will support pharmacy staff, manage workflows, troubleshoot technical issues, and play a key role in promoting medication safety and quality care. This position also collaborates closely with pharmacy leadership to drive continuous improvement in pharmacy operations and services.Key *Oversee clinical, operational, and distribution services during evening pharmacy shifts.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and internal policies and procedures.Assign evening shift responsibilities and manage staffing needs, including call-outs.Act as the primary contact for evening pharmacy staff to resolve issues promptly.Troubleshoot pharmacy automation and information systems.Collaborate with leadership to address operational challenges.Serve as a medication safety officer by reviewing errors and adverse drug events.Support the training and ongoing education of pharmacy staff.Assist in updating pharmacy policies and procedures.Manage and support pharmacy information systems and technology updates.Communicate effectively with healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care.*PharmD required; PGY1 Residency preferred.Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Informatics, or a related field strongly preferred.Active New York State pharmacist license.Minimum of 3 years of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience required.Prior experience in a pharmacy management or supervisory role preferred.Proficient in pharmacy automation and information systems.Join Our **This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working in a dynamic, community-focused environment that has been serving the public for over 110 years.
