Coordinates inter-facility critical care transports of neonatal/pediatric patients using clinical standards and guidelines via ambulance, helicopter or fixed wing.Minimum * Required **** High School or Equivalent; Required - Technical - ParamedicRequired **3,000 hours working as a paramedic. Preferred Experience is 2000 hours level II or III NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) and Pediatric Experience combinedRequired Certification & Licensure ** Required - BLS (Basic Life Support); Required - ACLS (Cardiovascular); Required - PALS (Pediatric); Required - NRP (Neonatal); Required - EVOC (Emergency Vehicle)STABLE (Sugar-Temperature-Airway-Blood Pressure-Lab Work-Emotional Support) within 1 year of hire.Required Specific Skills also ***** Ability to drive long hours with adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (i.e., traffic, weather conditions, etc.); Intravenous and Intraosseous insertion skills for pediatric populations, and the ability to learn neonate intravenous skills; Cricothyrotomy skills for pediatric population.Equal Opportunity Employer Veterans/Disabled
