Nuclear Technician

**Nuclear Specialists, Inc. is hiring a Nuclear Technician (Mobile) to operate our MaiCam 180 mobile cardiac imaging system throughout the Central Florida region. This full-time field-based role involves transporting and operating a SPECT (Single Photon Emission Computed Tomography) gamma camera and handling radiopharmaceuticals such as technetium and thallium.Technicians will travel within a 2-hour radius of Leesburg, FL, delivering in-office nuclear imaging to clinics and medical providers. You'll follow strict radiation safety protocols, interact with patients and medical staff, and work independently in a mobile diagnostic environment.We're looking for candidates with experience in nuclear medicine, military-equivalent imaging roles, or field service work involving radiation or diagnostic equipment. Must be able to manage heavy imaging systems (1,200-1,400 lbs via van lift) and be eligible to pursue Florida licensure upon offer.What You'll *Transport, set up, and operate mobile gamma camera systems (1,200-1,400 lbs using a lift system)Operate the MaiCam 180 SPECT gamma camera, a van-based nuclear cardiac imaging system using radioactive tracers (technetium, thallium).
