A cosmetic dermatology practice in West Hollywood is looking for a detail-oriented and efficient Medical Scribe to join our dynamic team.Job ** As a Medical Scribe, you will play a crucial role in supporting our providers by accurately documenting patient encounters and ensuring the smooth operation of our practice. Your responsibilities will *Key *Accurately and efficiently document patient visits, including history, examination, procedures, and treatment plans.Assist dermatologists in charting and updating electronic medical records (EMR).Ensure all documentation meets regulatory and compliance standards.Prepare and organize patient charts for review.Coordinate with medical staff to ensure timely and accurate documentation.Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.Assist with administrative tasks as needed.High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in medical terminology or healthcare preferred.3+ years of experience as a medical scribe in a cosmetic dermatology, plastic surgery, aesthetics or similar environment Proficiency in using EMR systems.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Knowledge of dermatology and cosmetic procedures is advantageous.Competitive salaryHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and holidaysOpportunities for professional development and growthFriendly and supportive work environment** $20/hr to $22/hr.
