Pride Health is hiring a Biomedical Equipment Technician I to support our client's Clinical Engineering department in Allentown, PA. This is a 13-week contract opportunity, offering competitive pay and the chance to contribute to high-impact healthcare technology services.Job **The Biomedical Equipment Technician I will perform preventative maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of OR/Anesthesia-related medical equipment. This role supports patient safety and clinical operations by ensuring the functionality and compliance of medical devices in a dynamic hospital environment.Key *Perform preventive maintenance and quality assurance inspections on biomedical and OR/Anesthesia equipment.Troubleshoot and repair defective equipment to reduce downtime and support clinical care.Maintain accurate device records and work order documentation.Participate in equipment installation, vendor service coordination, and training initiatives.Monitor safety alerts, recalls, and incident reports related to equipment performance.Provide technical support and guidance to peers and clinical staff.Ensure compliance with regulatory and manufacturer standards.*High School Diploma or GED requiredAssociate's Degree in Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field preferredMinimum 3 years of experience working with OR/Anesthesia medical equipmentExperience using computerized work order systems and technical manualsSkills & *Strong diagnostic, mechanical, and technical skillsKnowledge of alternative parts sourcing and electronic testing toolsExcellent communication and teamwork skillsMust be flexible and able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environmentAdditional * Allentown, PA 18101 Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM | 40 hours/weekContract * 13 weeksPay *** $40 - $45/hourOffered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.Interested?
