All practices specialize in the area of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. They are currently seeking a licensed Physiatrist for an outpatient practice. The Physiatrist will be based out of two locations in the Bronx. About the ** Physiatrist *** Monday to Friday***** 9am-5pmPatient ***** Personal Injury, Workers Comp, No Fault, Commercial, etc.On-Call- None! **Conducting comprehensive assessments of patients to understand their medical history, current condition, and functional limitationsDeveloping individualized treatment plans tailored to each patients needs and goalsPrescribing and overseeing various forms of rehabilitation therapy, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapyRecommending and performing various medical procedures, such as trigger point injections, soft tissue, and joint injections to treat pain and improve physical functioningEngage in research to advance the fields understanding of rehabilitation techniques, interventional procedures, and outcomes for patients with disabilities or chronic conditionsPerform other duties, as needed**Licensed to practice Medicine in New YorkDoctor of Medicine (MD) or a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree3+ years internship/residency trainingBoard Eligible / Certified in Physical medicine and Rehabilitation or NeurologyYour privacy is important to us.
