Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist to support our client's medical facility in Fort Lauderdale FL 33316 . This is a 3-month assignment with the possibility of a contract-to-hire opportunity, and its a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!Job ***** Phlebotomist***** Fort Lauderdale FL 33316***** 6 Months+Pay ***** $17.75 -19.75 per hour***** 6a-3p M-FRotational Saturdays at another sitePay rate is based on years of experience and educational qualifications.Key *Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information, etc.Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures.Properly explain in a clear but courteous manner the process of the venipuncture (blood drawing) and or other specimen collection (ex. urine or fecal) as required.Demonstrate technique/s using straight needles and/or butterfly needles.Fully understand all of the physicians orders. Matches laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes.
