An automotive parts manufacturer is actively seeking a Die Maintenance Assistant Manager to join their facility in the Northern Cincinnati area. You will oversee the Die Maintenance team. You will oversee the tool room and support the repair of Progressive and Transfer dies. The ideal candidate will have leadership experience within an industrial environment, along with hands-on experience with repairing Progressive and Transfer dies.This is a full-time position with excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401 (K), paid holidays & vacation.**Schedule repair of dies (working with Production Control & Manufacturing)Manage and maintain inventory (spare parts for tooling) (purchasing requests as needed)Coach and train die techniciansCreate and maintain team schedulesPerform investigations for defects - determine solutionsWork closely with Engineering and Quality team**Must have at least High School diploma or GEDAt least 2 years of supervisory experience in industrial environment10 years' experience in die repair & maintenance - or tool makingMust have experience in repairing Progressive & Transfer diesRead and interpret die blueprintsAble to intermittently sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, stoop, kneel, crouch & lift up to 30 poundsActiv8 Recruitment & Solutions / Renaissance Resources Inc. has been a trusted leader in North American recruiting for Japanese businesses for over 25 years.
