Job Title: Administrative AssistantThe ideal candidate will exhibit high standards, excellent communication skills, and have an ability to take initiative, and prioritize daily tasks. A strong ability to take charge and meet tight deadlines will ensure your success in this multi-faceted role.ResponsibilitiesAssist attorneys in busy litigation department with drafting of various legal documents.Assist attorneys with timesheets and reports.Handle ***** pleadings, discovery, depositions, notices, correspondence, memos, and briefs.Prepare and format Excel spreadsheets.Edit, format, proofread and finalize legal pleadings which include preparing table of contents and table of authorities.Screen and forward telephone calls to appropriate recipient.Type accurately and proofread work. Assist with formatting Letters, Memorandums, Briefs, Motions, etc.Prepare New Case Forms & E-mail New Case Opening.Enter time in 3E.Prepare Check Request forms.Prepare Amex and Out of Pocket Statements.Prepare Travel Authorization Forms, Travel Memos, & Benefit Day Memos.Organize various binders w/ tabs.Photocopying & FilingAdditional ***** Reception coverage on a daily/ weekly basis.Job ***** Expert knowledge of Legal Documents.Expert knowledge of Word and Excel.TOA and TOC knowledge preferred
