Position **Serve as the first point of contact for our office and to support day-to-day administrative operations. This individual will play a key role in creating a welcoming environment for visitors and staff while ensuring the office runs smoothly and efficiently.Key *Greet and assist visitors and guests as they arrive at the officeAnswer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional and friendly mannerOpen, sort, and route incoming mail and deliveriesHandle outgoing mail and shipping needsManage inventory and restocking of office supplies and breakroom items including coffee, beverages, and snacksCoordinate job-site orders and ensure accurate processing and follow-upAssist with the ordering and distribution of employee birthdays and other staff appreciation effortsCoordinate scheduling of office vehicle maintenance, including car washes, and organize staff lunches as requiredMaintain organized filing systems, including contracts and administrative documentsProvide general support to various departments with clerical and logistical tasksCoordinate with vendors and service providers for office maintenance and supply needsEnsure front desk and communal office areas, including the kitchen area, remain tidy and presentablePerform other administrative duties as assigned to support the overall needs of the office*Prior experience in a receptionist or administrative support role preferredSome knowledge of the construction industryExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environmentProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and basic office equipmentFriendly, professional demeanor with a can-do attitudeProven written and verbal communications abilities; proficiency with computer applications, including Microsoft Office suite, scheduling programs, etc. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
