Job ***** Field Technician - Heavy Equipment, Diesel, and Cranes***** Lincoln, NebraskaJob ***** Full-TimeField Technician Job **Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel-related issues on heavy equipment and cranes.Perform scheduled maintenance and inspections on cranes (mobile, truck-mounted, knuckle boom, etc.) and various types of construction equipment.Troubleshoot diesel engines, hydraulic systems, control systems, and drive train components.Conduct field repairs and installations with minimal supervision and in diverse jobsite conditions.Maintain service logs, complete work orders, and generate detailed reports on diagnostics and repairs.Diagnose and maintain equipment for various manufacturers (e.g., CAT, Cummins, Palfinger, Manitowoc).Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and company safety procedures and policies.Maintain a clean and organized service truck, tools, and inventory.Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and clients.Field Technician Job *3+ years of experience servicing heavy equipment, diesel engines, and crane systems.High school diploma or GED required; Technical or vocational training preferred.Strong working knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and crane operation/repair.Valid CDL (preferred) or ability to obtain one within 90 days of hire.Certification in crane repair is a plus.Ability to read schematics, service manuals, and technical drawings.Comfortable using laptop-based diagnostic software and hand-held diagnostic tools.What We *Competitive hourly wage Company-provided service truck and fuel cardHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time off and holidaysSign-on BonusOngoing technical training and career developmentEqual Opportunity Employer/Veterans/DisabledBenefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, term life insurance, short-term disability insurance, additional voluntary benefits, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
