Field Service Technician (high travel)

* This company is specifically seeking candidates with U.S. military experience (Mechanical / Electrical MOS required) * Korn Ferry Military Division has partnered with our client on their search for a Field Service Technician (for Commercial/HVAC Refrigeration) to cover their King of Prussia/Norristown PA service area. Candidate must have experience working on supermarket rack and heavy-duty refrigeration systems. Both Electrical and Mechanical work will be required for this role. They have a high preference for familiarity with CO2 refrigeration systems - this will give you a huge advantage over other candidates! ***** Up to 90% locally within the service branch area (company vehicle provided.) Includes travel from home to job sites and to/from the Service branch. *** This is a solid company with a rapidly growing division, great opportunity for career advancement; the FST role offers a path to a Supervisor role within 12-18 months! *** ** 90% - ROAD WARRIOR NEEDED! $35.00-45.00/hr (DOE) What You Will Do: Perform service & maintenance, and troubleshoot refrigeration and light commercial HVAC systems across a variety of client facilities (cold storage distribution centers, pharmaceutical refrigeration environments, etc.) Will work on 480V, 3-phase power systems, motors, and controls. Diagnose electrical/mechanical issues using multimeters, gauges, and software tools. Provide client interaction and technical support on-site; maintain accurate service records. Will participate in on-call rotation every 8 weeks for emergency service (as needed.)
