Web Digital Marketing Strategist - Contract** Plano, TX (Hybrid - Onsite Tues/Weds/Thurs) Contract with potential for extensionStart *** Onsite arrival between 8:30-9:00 AMAbout the RoleWe are seeking a strategic and data-driven Web Digital Marketing Strategist to join our Digital Marketing Web team. This role plays a key part in transforming our B2B SaaS and Pro Tax offerings from traditional telesales to a modern e-commerce model. You will focus on optimizing the digital customer journey, improving conversion rates, and elevating campaign performance through strategic insights, analytics, and experience design.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute digital marketing strategies focused on increasing web engagement and e-commerce conversion.Lead and deliver high-impact campaign landing pages and web experiences using CMS platforms and front-end tools (HTML/CSS; JavaScript a plus).Analyze web KPIs and campaign performance data to generate insights and drive data-informed optimizations.Partner with cross-functional teams including design, copywriting, and segment marketing to build and refine user journeys.Conduct A/B testing and experimentation to improve content performance, form completion rates, and user flow.Monitor page performance and user behavior to identify friction points and recommend UX improvements.Stay current on competitive trends, testing methodologies, and emerging web technologies.Requirements6+ years of digital marketing or web marketing experience, ideally in eCommerce or B2B SaaS environments.Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate customer insights into innovative digital experiences.Proficient in web analytics, performance reporting, and experimentation tools (e.g. A/B, sequential, multi-arm bandit testing).Experience with content management systems (AEM, WordPress, Drupal, etc.).Working knowledge of HTML and CSS; JavaScript familiarity a plus.Skilled in using Figma and translating design specs into live experiences.Exceptional organizational and time management skills, able to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.Self-starter with a proactive mindset and strong sense of ownership.Preferred QualitiesPassionate about user experience, web traffic analysis, and optimizing digital journeys.Strong communicator who can influence across cross-functional teams and leadership levels.Experience with digital acquisition strategies and familiarity with conversion rate optimization (CRO).Interview Process30-minute initial interview60-minute panel interview, including an assessment or discussion prompt
