Job **The Logistics Specialist is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the efficient transportation, storage, and distribution of goods. This role involves managing supply chain logistics, ensuring timely delivery, optimizing shipping methods, maintaining inventory accuracy, and collaborating with vendors, carriers, and internal teams to meet customer and organizational requirements.Key *Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations.Manage logistics processes including shipping, receiving, warehousing, and inventory control.Ensure on-time delivery of goods and resolve any shipment issues or delays.Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and delivery schedules.Communicate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal departments to streamline operations.Track orders using logistics software and systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or TMS).Negotiate contracts and rates with transportation providers.Prepare and maintain logistics documentation including invoices, customs declarations, and shipping manifests.Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices in logistics operations.Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, safety standards, and company policies.****Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).2-4 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain.Knowledge of logistics software (e.g., WMS, ERP, TMS).Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.Familiarity with import/export regulations is a plus.
