Outstanding computer troubleshooting skills for obscure issues, ranging from device connectivity, and laboratory software issuesBackground with End-user Computing or Desktop Support skills essential. Break/Fix consists of 80% of a Lab Engineer's workloadUnderstanding of Harware Components and Networking concepts, such as network topography, VLANSs, Static/Dynamic IPs, Subnetting, IT/OT Networks, and basic understanding of firewalls. Candidate should be familiar with the OSI model and how to troubleshoot different network layersKnowledge and understanding of Active Directory requiredD2D and/or project supportAGILE ways of working necessaryBackground with computer securityPrevious experience with validated systems (GxP) a plus Implement the validated data backup solution on laboratory analytical equipment (equipment and software investigation, documentation, technical configuration) within R&D (GxP and non-GxP)Support for scientists in incident management, user support and coaching, access managementTesting and validation of computer software (complete tests in different environments, writing technical documentation)Familiar with ticketing systems such as ServiceNowMicrosoft Excel skills a plusIndepth knowledge in Microsoft OS including iOS and Linux a plus
