Our vision statement: "Do It Right"Position DescriptionThe Quality Manager - Is responsible for leading the quality assurance and continuous improvement efforts within the manufacturing plant. This role ensures that all products meet customer, industry, and regulatory standards while driving a culture of quality excellence. The Quality Manager will develop and implement strategic quality initiatives, oversee compliance programs, and lead a team of quality engineers and technicians to optimize manufacturing processes and minimize defects. This hands-on leadership role requires close collaboration with production, engineering, and corporate teams to ensure plant-wide quality improvementsKey Responsibilities    Collaborate with operations leadership to foster a culture of quality ownership and accountability across all plant functions.       Develop and lead the plant's quality strategy, aligning it with business goals and customer r requirements.Manage the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with ISO 9001, and other industry regulations.Oversee plant-wide quality improvement initiatives, reducing defects, scrap, and rework through data-driven methodologies.Lead root cause analysis (RCCA), corrective actions (CA), and continuous improvement (CIP) to address recurring quality issues.Implement and maintain Statistical Process Control (SPC), to drive process improvements.Work closely with engineering and production teams to assure compliance and standard work. Lead and develop the quality team, providing coaching, training, and mentorship to quality engineers and technicians.Drive supplier quality initiatives, including supplier audits, corrective actions, and process capability improvements. Monitor and report on key quality performance indicators (KPI's), providing insights and recommendation to plant leadership.Serve as the primary liaison for customer quality concerns, third-party audits, and regulatory compliance assessments.Creating and documenting quality procedures Collaborating with customers on PPAP's Daily interaction with customers and vendors related to quality. Aligns Goals with Strategy Serve as technology advisor to the business on all aspects of quality trends and novel solutions specific to their respective domain or feature set Be innovative. Think outside the box when crafting solutions and considering impact Exercises a significant latitude in determining objectives and approaches to critical assignments Use long term strategic thinking to guide and develop your team to help them meet overall product goals Be a subject matter expert in your area of the product linesStay on the top of the latest technological progress and use this knowledge to ensure company deliverables remain marketable and competitive Required Education & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Business or a related field.10+ years of experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment, preferably in OEM operations, or industrial equipment production. Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 standards, and regulatory compliance. ISO Auditor certification a plus. Proven leadership experience in managing quality teams and driving strategic quality initiatives or strong experience indirectly leading teams. Expertise in Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and advanced quality methodologies.Hands-on experience with manufacturing processes such as welding, CNC machining, assembly, and UT testing.Strong problem-solving skills. Proficiency in quality data analysis tools Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior leadership.Ability to motivate people, instill accountability and achieve results Hol-Mac is committed to competitive, fair, and equitable compensation practices.·        This position is eligible for total compensation which includes a competitive base salary,·        The final offered salary will have several factors, including but not limited to the candidates depth of experience, skill set, qualifications, and internal pay equity.
