Company DescriptionWhite Goods Services is looking for lead install technicians that autograph their work with excellence with a mission to consistently exceed comfort expectations. This position demands an individual that will be focused on a quality installation to our mainly residential and some light commercial clients.** $30 - $40 per hour plus overtime, SPIFS, and bonuses** Medical, Dental, Vision, Paid holidays, Vacstion, IRA 3% Company match, Company truckRole DescriptionAs a Lead HVAC Installer, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Reporting to the HVAC Install Manager, your role is vital in ensuring that installations meet industry standards and customer expectations. You will utilize your core skills in HVAC, along with premium skills in HVAC design, to lead a team effectively. Your mechanical knowledge and field service experience will be essential in troubleshooting and resolving issues, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction in every project.QualificationsHigh school graduate and/or graduate of a post-secondary HVAC program of instruction of two or more years in duration.Five or more years of successful and full-time HVAC experience, either as a residential or commercial installation technician.Good oral and reading skills, including the ability to read and apply manufacturers installation instructions and clearly communicate with residential and commercial customers, suppliers, and other WGS employees.Physical ability to perform all duties noted above under the conditions, circumstances, and extreme weather conditions existent in Virginia.Interest and initiative in maintaining his/her HVAC skills through a combination of self-study, company training, manufacturers workshops, and other professional development activities.Interest and initiative to develop point-of-service sales techniques including developing sales leads and conducting sales of unit replacements, add-on units, IAQ services, and service contracts.Current Virginia operators license and the ability to operate all types of vehicles in the corporate fleet within 30 days of initial employment. Incumbent must be insurable by current insurance carrier.Ability to work efficiently given time pressures, non-standard schedule, extreme weather conditions, varying customer needs and demands, and backlog constraints.
