The Order Entry Specialist will be responsible for accurately entering customer orders into our ERP/CRM system, managing customer service issues, and supporting catalog sales. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Key *Order * Accurately enter customer orders into the ERP/CRM system, ensuring all fields such as name, address, account number, item number, price, and any sales or promotions are completed.Customer * Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and issues related to unfulfilled orders. Provide timely and effective solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.Inventory * Check inventory levels to ensure orders can be fulfilled. Communicate with relevant departments to manage stock levels and address any shortages.Order * Inform customers of expected delivery dates and follow up on orders to ensure timely fulfillment.* Work closely with sales, marketing, and other departments to align inventory strategies with promotional activities, new product launches, and seasonal demands.Proven work experience as an Order Entry Specialist or similar role.Knowledge of inventory management and ERP/CRM systems (Infor preferred).Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Operations, or a related field is preferred.Ability to problem-solve and address issues related to inventory discrepancies, stockouts, supplier handling, and transportation.Excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle complaints effectively.Physical ***Business casual attireOccasionally requires attending corporate functions
