As a wholly owned subsidiary of Kao Corporation, Tokyo, Japan, we are part of a global leader in chemicals, consumer goods, and cosmetics.KSA is looking for a detail-oriented Senior Quality Control Technician to join our innovative quality control team at Kao Specialties Americas in High Point, NC. In this role, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining quality standards while leading efforts to ensure compliance with industry regulations. Your expertise will directly contribute to the enhancement of product quality and operational efficiency, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards before reaching our customers. ResponsibilitiesSupport QC deliverables to ensure raw materials, in-process, and finished goods meet the customer's quality specifications. Interface with and build strong collaborative relationships with external stakeholders and internal stakeholders, including Analytical, R&D, Engineering, Production, etc.Independently resolve technical issues; effectively collaborate with internal and external teams to solve issues with broad scope and/or high complexityEscalate challenges to management; develop constructive technical proposals and implement solutions for the resolution of challenges, and address quality issuesEnsure compliance within QC by monitoring test methods, SOPs, QC analytical data, and regulatory requirementsReview and approve deviations, laboratory investigations, and evaluate proposed analytical change requestsSupport audits and compliance assessments to ensure adherence to regulatory requirementsMaintain accurate records and documentation of quality control activitiesOther duties as assignedQualifications3 + years' experience in Quality Control or other related function with a Bachelor of ScienceExperience reviewing analytical test results and solving technical problems associated with a wide variety of laboratory instrumentation.
