Position ** Quality Assurance - CMM Operator (3rd Shift) Monday-Thursday, 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM $23-$27/hour + Quarterly Bonus About the RoleA growing aerospace manufacturing facility in Troy, OH is urgently seeking a Quality Assurance - CMM Operator to join their night shift team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring dimensional accuracy and product quality during off-hours production. You'll perform detailed inspections using advanced metrology tools and CMM equipment in a fast-paced but supportive environment.This is a great opportunity for a precision-driven professional who enjoys working independently while maintaining high standards of quality control.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) with PC-DMIS softwarePerform 1st piece, in-process, and final inspectionsInterpret engineering drawings with strong knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)Use inspection tools including OD Micrometers, Comparators, Pitch Micrometers, and Depth MicrometersInspect for and measure circular runout, total runout, and cylindricityRecord precise inspection results and maintain documentationWork independently while coordinating with day shift QA as neededQualificationsMinimum 2 years of experience operating a CMM (PC-DMIS strongly preferred)Solid understanding of GD&T and blueprint interpretationProficient with precision *** OD Mics, Pitch Mics, Depth Mics, Comparators, etc.Experience inspecting complex components with tight tolerancesReliable and self-motivated with good communication skills*****Experience using Sheffield and Brown & Sharpe CMM machinesStable work history with a strong focus on quality and detailAbility to thrive in a high-output manufacturing environmentWork Environment & GrowthThe company culture is busy but laid-back, with a focus on teamwork and accountability.
