Duties and responsibilitiesResponsible for recruitment, interviews, hiring decisions, and onboarding processDetermines appropriate resolution of Team Member grievances, discipline issues, or claims of any type of harassment.Assists in coordinating HR projects such as company eventsPerforms customer service functions by answering employee requests and questionsConducts benefits enrollment for new employeesConducts audits of various payroll, benefits, or other HR programs and recommends any corrective actionAssists HR Management with various research projects and/or special projectsMakes photocopies, faxes document,s and performs other clerical functionsFiles papers and documents into appropthe riate employee filesPrepares new employee filesExplains and determines appropriate implementation of company personnel policies, benefits, and procedures to employees or job applicantsProcesses, verifies, and maintains documentation relating to personnel activities such as staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations, and classificationsRecords data for each employee, including such information as addresses, weekly earnings, absences, amount of sales or production, supervisory reports on performance, and dates of and reasons for terminationsAnswers questions regarding examinations, eligibility, salaries, benefits, and other pertinent informationExamine employee files to answer inquiries and provide information for personnel actionsRequest information from law enforcement officials, previous employers, and other references to determine applicants employment acceptabilityArranges for advertising or posting of job vacancies, and notifies eligible workers of position availabilityPrepares badges, passes, and identification cards, and performs other security-related dutiesPerforms other duties as assigned• Proactively addresses and corrects all unsafe behaviors and conditions.Qualifications *****Associates or bachelor's degreeExperience in both HR and Safety functionsFamiliar with HR Information systems as well as MS OfficeVery detail-oriented with excellent organization skillsSolid interpersonal skillsPerfect attendanceProficient in all labor and payroll lawsConfidentiality
