Quality InspectorStarting Range : $22.00 - $26.00 per hourPriority Filing Date: Open Until Filledseeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our Quality Assurance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting incoming, in-process components, and final products, ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesInspect incoming, in-process, and outgoing products and report results.Maintain inspection records and documentation.Monitor and manage vendor performance, rejection reports, and production accountability.Work on a PC to update, save, and retrieve files.Adhere to companys quality management system (QMS) and related policies, procedures, and standards.Perform internal audits, conduct Gemba walks, and generate reports for findings.Handle nonconforming materials and initiate corrective actions.Operation and maintenance of measuring test equipment. Draft and revise standard operating procedures (SOPs).Run statistical studies to evaluate quality performance.Approve product shipments after inspection.Address customer quality concerns and assist in providing solutions.Write and implement the organizations quality standards and procedures.Assist in the development of new methods for improving production techniques toensure high quality outputs.Utilize Excel and ERP systems for reporting and analytics.Minimum Qualifications/Experience RequiredAssociates degree required.2-5 years of experience in ISO 9001-certified electronics production environmentpreferred.Ability to read and interpret work instructions and drawings.Must have knowledge of proper handling of electronic components using ESDprocedures.Must be proficient with various gauges for inspection and measuring.Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and able to provide regular reports.Computer literacy is essential and a primary function of this role.Soldering of electronic components, PCBA, and SMT experience is a plus.Proven working knowledge of standard QA processes, inspections, documentation, andcriteria.Understanding proper escalation procedures and adherence to policy and procedure.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesKnowledge of ISO 9001 standards and quality management systemsUnderstanding of electronic components, assemblies, and production processesFamiliarity with inspection techniques (e.g., visual, mechanical, functional)Proficiency in using measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges,multimeters)Strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Excel and document managementsystemsEffective problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsAbility to identify and document quality issues with accuracy and detailAbility to concentrate on repetitive tasks with a high degree of precision Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines under pressureAbility to work independently as well as collaboratively with production andengineering teamsAbility to analyze trends and recommend quality improvementsWorking ConditionsWork generally performed in a temperature-controlled warehouse/productionenvironment with exposure to machinery, tools, and electronic equipment.
