Field Inspector

JOB DESCRIPTIONInsight Global is seeking an inspection professional to work in the Branford, CT area. Their day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating inspection services, documenting structures, and gathering information on beam sizes and other structural elements. They work closely with a department that handles administrative tasks, inspections, and supports engineers by obtaining lab reports on steel, soil, and concrete. Inspectors are responsible for special inspections, ensuring all regulations are met, and producing monthly reports over a 3-4 month period. Ideal candidates should have certifications in inspections of concrete, steel, and welding, with FAA certification for drones being a plus.REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE- 5+ years Inspection experience in steel, soil, and/or concrete - Experience with pricing out projects - Ability to prepare written reportsNICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE- FAA certification for drones - Welding inspection experience
