Job SummaryAs Construction Manager, you will be directly responsible for all field activities of the project construction team. Required to organize, plan, motivate, coordinate, and direct all aspects of the construction effort. You will act as the company official onsite representative in dealing with client, engineering, labor representatives, contractors, vendors, and the general public and functionally responsible to the project manager and administratively to the designated construction manager for the overall administration of the project's safety, technical details, schedules, and budgetary performance. The Construction Manager is responsible for the overall management and administration of the construction effort.CTCIA is not using 3rd party recruiting agencys. Agencys please do not reach outResponsibilitiesSetting construction execution basis, monitoring the execution, and updating of detailed field work schedules. Coordinating the use of manpower (both subcontractor direct labor and indirect labor) utilizing the project construction schedule and budgetSupervise, monitor, and document the execution of all subcontractors to ensure that all contract items and conditions are fulfilled. ensure the installation of work is in accordance with plans, specifications, and good practicesReview, approve and ensure all field changes to the scope of the project are executed prior to the changes being made. Ensure a field change order process is in place, functional, documented, followed, and reported in the project controls and project monthly reportsKeep a daily logbook of any and all events that are of a pertinent nature to the project. Ensure all direct reports, superintendents and subcontractor coordinators are maintaining a daily logbook appropriately documenting their project activity, direction made or received affecting the contract and/or scope of workMaintaining a positive relationship with the Client Representative assigned to the project. All reasonable Client requests shall be considered, but where any request is in direct conflict with company policy, procedures, or the contract, the Site Manager will bring the request to the attention of the designated Construction Manager and the Project ManagerAssure that all personnel assigned to the project are aware of company policies and procedures and abide by themPrepare various monthly reportSupervise and/or coordinate all field staff employees assigned to the projectAssume leadership role of Safety Focused planning efforts upon mobilization of projectEnsure a safe working environmentEnsure quality workAssure proper maintenance and upkeep of all company owned, leased or rented equipment, vehicles and toolRequired SkillsProficient in Microsoft Suite.
