***To apply, email your current resume to {Please include job title and listing ID 4268036 in the subject line of your email.A Current iMatchSkills® account is required prior to referral to the employer.Requirements:-Eighteen (18) years of age-High school diploma or GED-One (1) year experience as a maintenance technician-Valid drivers license to drive company vehicles to housing locations-Training or experience using computers to enter, access, and retrieve dataPreferred (not required)- Experience in plumbing, electrical, painting and household appliance general unit maintenance and repairJob Duties:-Always represent the employer in a positive and professional manner.-Responsible for the completion of all maintenance service requests as assigned by theFacilities Manager. Training will be required to learn Property ManagementSoftware program, AppFolio.-Complete maintenance turnover work for vacant apartments as directed by the FacilitiesManager. Complete an inspection checklist for each turnover unit after turnovermaintenance is completed.-Work within the expense limits established.-Maintain inventory controls for cost effective operations. Organize and maintainmaintenance storage area for each Property that has one.-Schedule and complete the Preventative Maintenance Program.-Coordinate special projects as directed by the Facilities Manager.-Carry an iPad and / or cell phone provided by the employer as required for on-call maintenance and to be in touch with the Facilities Manager. Regularly check and respond to electric electronic communication examples: text, emails, and property management software.-Monitor and maintain all building systems as assigned. Have knowledge of each properties water line, sewer systems, and shut-off valves for all building property systems.-Complete weekly grounds work as directed by the Facilities Manager which may includepicking up trash, sweeping curbs, and cleaning dumpster areas, power washing sidewalksand parking lots and other areas excluding landscaping. These items do not require a workorder and should be done weekly as an ongoing task.-Responsible for alerting the Facilities Manager of any unusual occurrence and / or damagethat has taken place.-Complete payroll timesheets and submit them to the supervisor.-Maintain a courteous professional manner with all residents, vendors, contractors, andfellow employees. Any tenant comments should be noted and forwarded to the FacilitiesManager.-Assure safety standards are used and that they comply with all company, local, city, state, and federal guidelines. Complete monthly property safety reports.-Ensure compliance with all work-related activities in a fair, ethical, and consistent manner.-Follow established company policies and those outlined in the Employee Manual Policy,Property Management Maintenance Procedure, reports, and checklists.-Any other duties as assigned.Employer Notes:-Veterans encouraged to apply-This is not a full job description-This employer conducts a background check before the first day of employmentWage:$20 to $23 per hour DOE / DOQ
