Maintenance Mechanic***** Hartford CountyMonday - Friday, 5 am to 1:30 pm***** Competitive pay $25-$40/hour with opportunity for overtimeHealth, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance; 401K with match, Paid Holidays, Uniforms, Production bonus**Perform maintenance on the facility, including electrical, mechanical, and electronic repairs.Troubleshoot and diagnose issues in CNC-controlled mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process.Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure machines operate efficiently.Conduct scheduled maintenance on plant equipment and machinery.Install, repair, and replace worn or defective parts, motors, control devices, and electronics.Troubleshoot all equipment.Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues using repair manuals and parts catalogs as needed.Inspect, operate, and test machinery to identify malfunctions.Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed.Dismantle equipment using hoists, cranes, hand tools, and power tools to access and remove defective parts.Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to complete required maintenance and repairs.Ensure compliance with OSHA safety and health regulations.Complete OSHA and other job-specific training as needed.Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications/**At least five years' experience in maintenance within a similar environment or equivalent educationExperience in electronics, electrical repairs, industrial equipment installation, alignment, start-up repairs, and crane operations.Strong knowledge of electrical systems and basic wiring, including 480V through control voltage, basic PLC knowledge, relays, and starters.Pre-employment physical exam, medical history check, drug screening, and background check requiredMust be flexible with all shifts and available for overtime as needed.Ability to work at heights up to 30 feet.Ability to work extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and loud noises.Ability to physical activity ifting objects up to 50 pounds and standing or walking for over six hours per day.Must be able to climb portable ladders, crawl under and onto machinery, and enter/exit confined spaces.Exposure to workplace hazards or physical risks requires strict adherence to safety protocols and the use of approved protective equipment.Must be available for 24-hour emergency response.If you are interested and qualified for this position, please contact Damaris Diaz, call 203-213-6925 or email at damaris.diaz@
