Residential Facilities Manager - Private Downtown NYC Townhouse📍Location: West Village, New York, NY💼Schedule: Monday-Friday, with occasional nights and weekends💰Salary: $175,000/yearFull job description availableA newly constructed private residence in Lower Manhattan is seeking a Residential Facilities Engineer (RFE) to join a dynamic team managing a new 25,000 sq. ft. smart home with 9,000 sq. ft. of terraces. This role is ideal for a proactive, highly experienced, hands-on professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and values discretion, precision, and service excellence.Key Responsibilities:Manage and maintain advanced residential MEP systems (e.g., geothermal HVAC, water treatment, electrical, Crestron, Lutron, BMS).Oversee maintenance vendors, system diagnostics, and building inspections; ensure smooth daily operation of gym, pool/sauna/steam, theater, elevator, and chef's kitchen.Coordinate household readiness for family arrivals/departures with Property Manager and house staff.Supervise all service contractors and ensure compliance with specs, quality, and schedules.Maintain comprehensive maintenance schedules, records, and reports.Support sustainability initiatives and ensure efficient resource usage.Assist with budgeting, procurement, and inventory for facilities and supplies.Provide facilities support across other family properties as needed.Qualifications:10+ years in high-end residential or commercial facilities management.Expert in complex building systems and smart home technologies.Experience in trades (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, mechanical).Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.Proactive, discreet, detail-oriented, and team-minded.Comfortable with physical labor and working at heights or in confined areas.Valid driver's license; clean driving record; must be eligible to work in the U.S.This is a high-impact, client-facing role ideal for someone passionate about residential operations and maintaining top-tier properties to the highest standard of service.Full job description available
