Claims Adjuster

Beacon Hill Legal's client, a utility company located near Union Square, is seeking an experienced Claims Adjuster Attorney for a long-term, open ended role. The ideal candidate will have significant experience managing a high volume of general litigation cases, and be able to draft settlement requests and perform case reviews. Responsibilities include reviewing files and communicating with outside counsel and internal investigators, assisting in making recommendations on settlements and/or investigations, updating case files in the case management system, reviewing bills, and preparing settlement requests.*****Start Date-asapPay rate-dependent upon experience but will start at $35 per hourDuration-a minimum of 2-3 monthsLocation-required to commute to Union Square dailyBar Requirement-admitted to NY state bar
