Oversee and coordinate the maintenance team for performance of maintenance tasks in one or more fields (e.g. carpentry, electrical, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, etc.). Responsible for evaluating problematic systems or facilities and determining what installation or repair services need to be performed. May be required to oversee maintenance projects in remote locations.WHAT YOU'LL DOAssist in hiring decisions for maintenance associates, organizing schedules, developing associates and assigning daily work activity to include preventive maintenance schedules.Provide support and guidance to on-site maintenance contractorsAssist in developing and implementing maintenance processes and assuring associates are trained in the requisite skillsOngoing inspection of facility to identify and troubleshoot any structural or equipment malfunctions in need of maintenance/repairPerform a variety of master-level skilled electrical tasks to repair, install and replace equipment and materials ensuring they conform to existing building codesPerform preventative and repair maintenance on warehouse conveyor system to include replacement of belts, rollers, bearings, gearboxes, scanners, PLC's and motors.Perform electrical maintenance to include but not limited to replacement or repair of fixtures. (i.e. wall switches and outlets, incandescent and florescent bulbs and tubes, ballast, sockets, fuses, minor appliances, cords, refrigeration systems, etc.)Perform plumbing maintenance such as replacement or repair of leaks in drains and faucets, unclogging of drains, trenching and laying new lines, replacing drain hoses on washers and similar devices, etc.Perform basic painting, carpentry and masonry workReconfigure, install, position and remount modular offices to accommodate user needsOrder parts and maintain inventoryMaintain records for preventative maintenance and perform scheduled preventive maintenance on building and mechanical equipment; inspect belts, check fluid levels, replace filters, etc.Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulationsServe as member of the Company Emergency Response Team and provide support and guidance in the event of a power outage or other facility related malfunctionMonitor and maintain internal work order ticket system to assure timely service to internal customersWHAT YOU BRINGBachelors degree (Related Field Preferred).Five years of management experience with demonstrated ability to coach/mentor/develop and lead team members.Five years working experience in facility maintenance with experience in general maintenance to include welding, fabrication, carpentry, electrical, heating, ventilation and air conditioning and plumbing.Experience working with 3 phase/480 voltExperience troubleshooting proximity switches, photo eyes, I/O modules, and 24 Volt DC ConveyorAbility to use common hand and power toolsStrong mechanical skillsExcellent oral and written communication skills (ability to read, write, speak and understand English)Must be customer service orientedAbility to meet or exceed Galls' attendance and punctuality standardsAbility to work with minimal supervisionAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyAbility to interface with various levels of employees within all areas of the companyBasic Microsoft Office computer skills (primarily word, outlook, excel)Must be able to work flexible hours as business needs dictateAbility to drive Material Handling EquipmentPhysical requirements include having ability to work in non-climate controlled warehouse, ability to push minimum of 100 pounds; ability to lift minimum 50 pounds; ability to climb ladders, ability to bend, sit, kneel, lay horizontally, climb, walk, etc., as job functions requiredWHAT WE OFFERExcellent medical/dental and vision coverage"” Eligible 1st day of the month after start date401(k) retirement plan with company contribution (because you will retire someday)Flexible benefits"”choose what you like, ignore the restGenerous employee discountVacation and Personal TimePaid HolidaysTuition reimbursementDaily Pay; up to 50% of your payGalls is an EEO/AA/Minorities/Female/Disabled/Veterans Employer.
