Chief Aviation Inspector

In this role, you'll use your leadership and technical expertise to ensure aircraft inspections meet FAA standards and contribute to a best-in-class safety culture.The Key Responsibilities of the Chief Aviation Inspector will **Ensure all required inspections are properly completed and documented before aircraft are returned to serviceCoordinate with FAA Certificate Holding District Office and other relevant FAA representatives on Quality Assurance issuesOversee correct tagging, tracking, and identification of all parts and componentsEnsure continuity in inspection responsibilities across personnel changesEvaluate and implement updates to inspection, maintenance, and avionics policies and proceduresEnsure all contractors performing aircraft/appliance work comply with FAA regulations and company proceduresApprove incoming raw materials and parts, including work performed by outside vendorsEnsure proper execution of FAA Form 337 and/or maintenance releases when requiredSubmit reports of failures, malfunctions, or defects as required by 14 CFR Part 145.221The Ideal Chief Aviation Inspector will have the below skills and *A&P Certified Mechanic with Inspection Authorization (IA)Previous experience working for an FAA Part 145 Rotorcraft Repair StationProven experience working with FAA offices regarding Quality Assurance topicsHigh school diploma or equivalentProficient with Microsoft Office and other relevant systemsHighly organized, detail-oriented, and time-efficientCollaborative and team-focused mindset* $125,000 - $140,000 , excellent additional benefits + sign-on bonusFlexible *** 4/10, 7-on/7-off, or 14-on/14-offRelocation and housing assistance available for eligible candidatesLocation : LA County , CAReady to make an impact?
