Janco Engineered Products, LLC manufactures a wide range of advanced composites. Founded in 1973, Janco has earned a reputation as an effective solutions provider for customers in a wide range of industries. Utilizing multiple resin systems of epoxy, polyester and vinyl esters, plus various glass and carbon fibers, Janco is able to provide unique properties that are ideal for many industrial and commercial applications. Today, the company has over eighty employees at its 80,000 square foot production facility in Mishawaka, Indiana, manufacturing quality advanced composite products incorporating filament wound and pultruded shapes. Janco engineers its composites to provide the precise mechanical, electrical and temperature properties required for specific applications in a variety of industries. Janco is a recognized leader in the high and low voltage electrical distribution and controls market. This has given us the depth of experience to apply advanced knowledge to new applications. We are also recognized as a prominent fabricator of composite materials. Janco has the equipment and skills critical to satisfying the most exacting customer requirements. Our component fabrication capabilities extend from advanced CNC lathes to multiple automated milling machines and tight tolerance center-less grinding. Our in-house painting capabilities, sub-assembly and contract manufacturing services allow us to be a highly efficient "one-stop shop" for our customers.Vice President of Operations Job Responsibilities:Acts as a strategic partner on the leadership team and works closely with the team to ensure they are meeting performance expectations.Coaches and develops the team to ensure they are delivering against key business metrics.Looks for methods to improve quality, efficiency and productivity, reduce costs, increase profits, or improve control measures.Works collaboratively to develop and/or improve systems, processes, controls and procedures that improve the overall efficiency of the firm and insure excellent client service.Provides timely, accurate and complete reports on the operating condition of the company.Manages the overall strategy, purpose, and vision of the entire Human Resources function: benefits, payroll, 401k, recruitment, learning and development, culture, performance management, and succession planning.Motivates and leads a high-performance management team.Attracts, recruits, and retains required members of the executive team not currently in placeProvides mentoring as a cornerstone to the management career development program.
