This role is ideal for a professional with expertise in building enclosure and building envelope consulting for both new and existing structures. The successful candidate will lead projects of varying sizes, contribute technical expertise, and play a key role in business development. Responsibilities include managing projects, supporting senior staff, building client relationships, and ensuring high-quality deliverables. Travel outside the local area may be required up to 25%, depending on project needs.Key **Provide new design consulting and peer reviews of building enclosure plans and specificationsReview architectural drawings, shop drawings, and submittals related to building enclosuresConduct and oversee field performance testing, including water leakage testingPerform construction administration services, such as shop drawing reviews and site visitsLead forensic investigations and documentation of existing building enclosure systemsAssist with remediation design for building enclosure issuesCollaborate on major design, inspection, and investigative projectsPrepare clear and professional technical reportsCreate sketches and markup details using Bluebeam or hand-drawn techniquesMinimum **Bachelors degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Architectural Engineering and 3+ years of experience in building enclosure consulting or constructionOR5+ years of experience in building enclosure consulting or construction in lieu of a degreeStrong technical understanding of building enclosure systems and construction methodsExperience managing small to large-scale projectsAbility to read and interpret architectural drawings and specificationsCapable of performing both office-based and physical fieldwork tasksComfortable working at heights using ladders, boom lifts, scaffolds, swing stages, and roofsAbility to work independently and within a team to meet project deadlinesStrong technical writing and communication skillsProfessional and consistent client interaction and project coordinationValid drivers license and acceptable Motor Vehicle ReportWillingness to travel up to 25% outside the local area based on project demandsPreferred ****Professional registration (or ability to obtain within one year)Field experience with various building typesExperience investigating wall systems for leaks and performance issuesFamiliarity with ASTM testing for air and water infiltrationSafety training or scaffold certificationProficiency in Bluebeam
