Due to our organization's growth, AbleLight has four impactful Board of Director openings. We are seeking to add four executives with significant expertise in the areas below in the following communities of greatest need - Colorado, California, Missouri, Oregon, Washington.AbleLight is a growing non-profit organization that has a Vision of a world where all people with developmental disabilities are loved, secure, and flourishing in their communities. Our Values of Mission First, One AbleLight and Christian Love are exhibited on a daily basis by our dedicated team members and Board members.The Board provides fiduciary oversight of AbleLight. Directors actively leverage their personal and professional networks to advance our Mission. They engage in quarterly regular Board meetings (two are in-person and two are virtual), virtual Committee sessions and community engagement activities. Directors are all unpaid volunteers giving back to their local communities, it is an opportunity to truly make a difference! AbleLight pays for all travel and expenses and provides administrative support. Directors are elected to serve a three-year term and highly encouraged to participate in Committee work.Ideal candidates **Have extensive C-suite executive-level experience in one of 4 key areas of ** Chief Financial Officer with strong operational skills, Chief Medical Officer with a specialty of developmental disabilities, family practice, or general practitioner, C-Suite leader of Faith or Mission Integration, and C-Suite operational leader for multistate and multisites.Exhibit a commitment to make the world a better place for the IDD community by leveraging personal and professional relationships to advance our Mission and engage community stakeholders.With Mission Growth as a top strategic priority, expertise in a growth environment through mergers & acquisitions, private equity, building / selling your own business is highly preferred along with Board experience.A passion for serving individuals with developmental disabilities is a must. A personal connection to a close family member or friend is certainly beneficial.Exhibit critical thinking and collaborative problem-solving, and a natural desire for cultivating relationships and aligning consensus among diverse opinions and perspectives for AbleLight's best interests.Identify as being of the Christian faith, in alignment with the Christian faith-based values of AbleLight. Reside and work in one of our markets of greatest need - Colorado, California, Missouri, Oregon, Washington.
