RxFit focuses on functional strength for pain-free physical abilities combined with aesthetic appeal.Role DescriptionThis is a part-time hybrid role for a Functional Massage Therapist in the Austin, Texas Metropolitan Area. The Functional Massage Therapist will perform therapeutic massages, including bodywork massages and sports massages, to help clients manage stress and reduce joint pain. Daily tasks include providing customer service, developing personalized massage plans and working with a functional personal trainer to discuss client work. Some work from home is acceptable, but the majority of work will be on-site with clients.It is important to note that we offer fully clothed, oil-less that reduce pain while improving biomechanics, functional massages to our clients.QualificationsTherapeutic Massage, Shiatsu, and Body Massage skills, Sports MassageExperience in stress management techniquesStrong customer service skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and in clients homes or fitness facilitiesCertification in Massage Therapy is requiredPrevious experience in a similar role is advantageous
