Electrician

Electrician  has overall responsibility over technical repairs and troubleshooting task in for Manufacturing operations. Electrician works alongside Mech Lead and reports to Director of Plant Engineering.  Duties and Responsibilities·        Ensure all safety procedures and training are being performed and followed.·        Perform Preventative Maintenance·        Installation of equipment·        Strong understanding of wiring, circuits and other electrical components·        Ability to perform electrical tests, read results and diagnose and repair electrical problems·        Ability to read blueprints and technical documents·        Using various devices, including ammeters, voltmeters, thermal scanners and cable testers, as well as hand and power tools·        Installing or replacing wiring, lighting, electrical controls, breakers and other electrical devices·        Documenting the work completed and materials used·        Working with other electricians, general contractors, architects and other team members·        CPR certified·        Troubleshoot and repair equipment·        Know and follow Lock Out Tag Out procedures·        Use proper tools and safety equipment·        Utilizes all required PPE properly and have skill evaluations performed prior to utilizing tools/equipment and/or performing their assigned job duties. ·        Actively promotes and enforces job safety and procedures.·        Attend and/or conduct periodic departmental meetings.·        Promote a culture of continuous improvement.Please note this description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
