The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with high-volume, multi-state payroll and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This role offers growth potential and the opportunity to join a stable, well-established organization.Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister full-cycle, in-house payroll for 1,000+ employeesHandle multi-state payroll processing, including compliance with CA, AZ, and CO regulationsProcess garnishments, manage time and attendance systems, and resolve payroll discrepanciesPrepare and post payroll-related journal entriesEnsure compliance with internal controls and audit requirementsLeverage timekeeping systems such as Kronos or eTime for accurate payroll trackingSupport payroll reporting and analytics using Advanced Excel tools (e.g., Pivot Tables)Partner with internal departments on payroll-related matters and support year-end reportingUtilize systems such as JD Edwards (JDE) Oracle or similar ERP platformsQualifications5+ years of payroll experience, including high-volume and multi-state environmentsStrong knowledge of payroll compliance and best practicesExperience with garnishment processing and journal entriesProficiency in Excel and payroll/timekeeping systems (Kronos, JD Edwards, etc.)Exposure to union or construction payroll a plus (not required)Bachelor's degree preferred, but not requiredSelf-starter with excellent attention to detail and organizational skillsCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive ** $65K-$80K, with potential stretch to $85KMedical, Dental, Vision insurance2-3 weeks PTO401(k) with employer matchOpportunity for overtime pay and long-term career growthInterested in this role?
