Job Description

A growing real estate law firm based in Brooklyn is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our firm. The ideal candidate will have a strong background handling residential and commercial purchases, sales and financings, dispositions, and other real estate transactions, including reviewing title reports and corresponding with clients, lenders, and other parties involved in the closing process.Key **Assist attorneys with residential and commercial real estate transactions, acquisitions, dispositions, and leasingConduct title and survey reviews, analyze title commitments, and coordinate resolution of title issuesHandle due diligence, including ordering and reviewing entity, lien, and UCC searches, as well as reviewing minutes and preparing diligence memorandaCoordinate and manage transaction closings, including preparing closing checklists, closing statements, and post-closing documentationAssist with real estate development matters, including reviewing entitlements, easements, and zoning reportsResearch real property records and compliance matters using public records and informational databasesMaintain and update an internal database to ensure accurate and timely recording of all transaction milestonesPrepare and manage client intake documentation.**Paralegal certificate (Preferred)Minimum of 3 years of real estate experience in commercial and residential transactions, title and survey matters, and financing transactionsStrong understanding of closing mechanics and real estate documentation, title insurance, and due diligence processesProficient in Microsoft Office, ACRIS, and online legal databases (Westlaw and NYSCEF)Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentCertification as a Notary Public is a plusCompensation for this role is $70,000 - $95,000, depending on experience + discretionary bonus.
