Youll be fully immersed in all stages of litigation, from pre-suit claim investigation through trial and appeal. The incoming attorney with work directly with a senior partner and focus on a diverse mix of professional liability, general liability, premises liability, product liability, commercial disputes, and insurance coverage claims. We are seeking candidates comfortable managing cases from inception to close. Core Responsibilities: Lead defense strategy for diverse civil defense matters Conduct thorough case investigations and develop strategic defense approaches Handle all aspects of written discovery Execute sophisticated motion practice Take and defend depositions, sometimes independently Participate in alternative dispute resolution proceedings Prepare for and participate in trials and appeals Conduct comprehensive legal and factual researchInterested candidates should have 2-5 years of civil defense experience and have strong legal writing skills.
