Notably the firm is recognized for its pro bono servicesThis role would be operating remotely and reporting into the accounting manager! May need to go into the NYC office every now and then, however majority of the time remote!There is a really fresh perspective thats been brought to the firm over the past few years! Very progressive and there is a lot of growth going on for the firm!RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SENIOR STAFF ACCOUNTANTThe Senior Staff Accountant will handle a high volume of credit card reconciliation back logCompile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts.The Senior Staff Accountant will also handle month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities.Prepare balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports to summarize current and projected company financial position.Prepare reports to substantiate individual transactions prior to monthly close process.Establish, modify, document, and coordinate the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures.EXPERIENCE PREFERRED FOR THE SENIOR STAFF ACCOUNTANT *****General AccountingStrong reconciliation experience!Attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skills INSEP2024
