We're looking for a skilled and motivated Technical Services Manager to lead the installation, maintenance, and technical support of our maple and synthetic sports flooring systems"”both permanent and portable.In this role, you'll:Apply your in-depth knowledge of sports flooring materials and their use in athletic environments.Travel frequently to manage projects, support clients, and ensure high-quality installations.Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams to resolve issues and keep projects on track.Use your strong technical writing and collaboration skills to document processes and support cross-functional teams.Navigate high-pressure situations with professionalism and provide clear, practical solutions.This is a great opportunity to work with innovative flooring technology and build relationships with clients across different regions. If youre technically savvy, thrive under pressure, and are passionate about delivering top-tier service, we'd love to hear from you.Key Responsibilities: Provide technical expertise for the installation and maintenance of sports flooring systems.Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues both onsite and remotely to ensure compliance with industry standards. Conduct site inspections and provide technical guidance to clients, contractors, and installers. Provide training (internal & external) and installation certifications.Assist in research and development for new and existing systems improvements, including installations and updates.Sustain client and company relationships, focusing on solutions and successful relationship management.Coordinate customer service and communicate proactively with architects, dealers, etc.Draft detailed documentation related to flooring installations, repairs, and inspections. Provide a comprehensive post-installation report & maintenance guidelines for clients.Assist with technical committee initiatives and issues; oversee legal matters relevant to the position.Supply sales support as requested; participate in trade events and deliver technical presentations. Requirements:5+ years in sports flooring (maple/synthetics preferred).Bachelor's in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).Strong communication, conflict resolution, and technical writing skills.Extensive experience in technical project management and onsite troubleshootingFamiliarity with ASTM, FIBA, DIN standards is a plus.Proficiency with carpentry tools and Microsoft Office Suite.Valid driver's license and passport; ability to travel internationally.Desired Attributes:We're looking for a candidate who brings not only technical expertise but also the right mindset and interpersonal skills to thrive in a dynamic, client-focused environment.
