POSITION DETAILSPosition SummaryThe Shipper position is responsible for preparation and shipment of all outgoing product. Enters equipment information into appropriate management information systems/records and performs shipping functions for the facility.Prepare items to be shipped to both domestic and international locations and completes the required forms and documentsMaintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies; submits Purchase Requests and orders supplies when neededFollow established departmental policies, procedures, and objectivesDetermines method of shipment and prepares bills of lading, invoices, and other shipping documents.Examines shipment contents and compares with records, invoices, or orders to verify accuracy.CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTSKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesRead, write, speak and understand English.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong analytical skills, ability to multi-task.Excellent time management and organizational skills, detail oriented.Related experience requiredProcess all shipments via UPS/FedEx/DHL (International shipping a Plus)Follow up on shipments if neededKnowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook Email, Access.Prepare and execute all necessary paperwork involved within the shipping activitiesCapable of identifying and resolving problems in a timely mannerProcesses shipments per instructions on shipping documentsResponsible to coordinate everyday ShippingPrevious inbound and outbound shipping experiencePrevious filing and data entry experience.Must be able lift up to 25 lbs.Must be reliable**High School Diploma or EquivalentPAY ** $18.00 - $19.50 per hour (+ Shift Differential $0.75 per hour, if applicable).Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.CIRCOR is an EEO Employer of Females/Minorities/Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities
