Job ** Workers Compensation Paralegal Greenbelt, MD Legal $22-$24/hour (Contract-to-Hire) | Approx. $55,000/year upon conversionAbout Our **Addison Group is partnering with a respected legal firm seeking a Workers' Compensation Paralegal to support their expanding team. Our client values long-term team members and is looking for someone who sees this as a potential long-term fit. The position is immediately available and offers a fast-track to a full-time role with excellent benefits.Job *We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Workers' Compensation Paralegal with recent experience in handling claims and legal documentation. You'll work closely with attorneys and legal assistants in a dynamic and collaborative office setting.Key *Prepare, gather, and manage documentation related to workers' compensation casesMaintain accurate case files and assist with legal correspondence and filingsProvide support to more than one attorney as neededFlexibly assist across other legal areas when requiredCommunicate professionally with clients and internal staffUtilize Microsoft Office daily; familiarity with iManage is a plus*Minimum of 2 years of recent experience specifically in workers' compensation lawProficient in Microsoft Office Suite; iManage experience is beneficial but not requiredStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to adapt and learn quickly in a high-volume, fast-paced environmentParalegal Certificate or Bachelor's Degree preferred but not mandatoryBilingual (English/Spanish) is a plusAdditional *Job * Contract-to-HireWork * Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM or 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM* Fully on-site at client's Greenbelt, MD officeWeekly * 40 (Not eligible for overtime)Start * Immediately after final interviewInterview *Virtual Interview with the Office Manager and Director of HRIn-Person Interview with HR and one of the attorneysPerks Upon ****Comprehensive benefits packageFour weeks of paid leaveChildcare and fitness reimbursementsSupportive and team-oriented work environmentAddison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
