The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a team environment. This individual will have an opportunity to make lasting and positive changes in our team!What you will be doing:Provide Preventative Maintenance for facilities and production equipmentEnsuring all maintenance procedures and activities adhere to quality standards and environmental regulations.Managing relationships with suppliers and negotiating contracts for maintenance materials, utilities, and services.Collaborating with the health and safety officer to ensure all activities are conducted in a safe manner, and all equipment and machinery meet safety standards.Regularly reviewing and updating maintenance protocols and procedures to improve efficiency.Participating in budget development and management for the maintenance department.Coordinating with the human resources department for recruitment, training, and development of maintenance staff.Implementing energy-saving measures and sustainability initiatives within the facility.Ensuring all maintenance documentation is well-organized and accessible.Regularly communicating with senior management on maintenance planning and ongoing activities.Participating in audits and implementing corrective actions as needed.Support project launch strategy in the fast-paced automotive industryProvide support for all pre-production builds requiring components and/or services from the manufacturing siteReview and provide input on new equipmentUpkeep of building, grounds, and production equipment Support schedule mold changes as required by productionSupport cost savings programs for the manufacturing siteCoordinate training and skill improvements for the maintenance teamTimely completion, coordination, and implementation of projectsAchieving goals and objectives relating to cost and timingAchieve project expectation and requirements for all elements of PPAP, IATF 16949 and other elements relating to product launch Overall housekeeping of maintenance and production areasEfficient supply and distribution of utilities including water, steam, electricity, natural gas, compressed air and waste disposal. Identifies and drives Continuous Improvements projects with supporting data in order to ensure effective and sustainable benefitsUnderstand and properly model adherence to safety policies and proper PPE usageCoordinate with vendors and contractors during facility maintenance installation and upgrades Participation and any quality issues or concerns, 8D's, FMEA's, Additional duties may apply depending on the facilities' needs and requirements.What you will bring along:Minimum of High School Diploma or GED. Bachelors in related field preferred5-7 years of experience in manufacturing maintenance, repair work, and problem solvingSelf-motivated and willing to work as a member of a team in a fast-paced environmentAbility and willingness to take on challenges in all aspects of a Molding and Assemblies operation, such as modular workstations, with IMM, PIDs, PLCs, and HMIs. Experience and strong understating of mechanical, electrical (high and low voltage controls), pneumatics, and hydraulics.Experience in safety interlock, safety systems, and OSHA requirements.Proven ability to motivate, manage, and mentor the members of a teamAbility to identify team member skill gaps, ensure adequate training, facilitate development opportunities for the betterment of the team members, the team, and GrammerAbility to work cross-functionally Ability to be proactive and strategic in achieving and maintaining minimum unplanned downtime Understands and practices the concepts around TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) - TPM includes Active Preventive Maintenance, budgets, work orders and inventory controls.Record keeping of Maintenance Records (CMMS)Budget and planning experienceTS 16949 awarenessISO 14001 orientation/awareness trainingCAD Software experience would be helpfulMicrosoft Office proficiency, especially with ExcelWhat we can provide you:Medical, Dental, and Vision coverageTuition reimbursement programs401(k) matchRobust EAP servicesDevelopmental opportunitiesMuch more!
