This position is responsible for installing, repairing, and testing a variety of electronic systems in both vehicles and residential environments. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with automotive and home technology and thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused field environment.Key Responsibilities:Install and service electronic systems in fleet and personal vehicles, including:Car audio, video, and security systemsGPS tracking devices and lane departure warning systemsBluetooth, navigation units, and dash camerasRims, tires, and custom vehicle electronicsPerform installations and troubleshooting for residential smart home equipment, including home theater and audio systemsInstall and maintain BAIID (Breath Alcohol Ignition Interlock Devices) in compliance with state regulationsDesign, test, and repair electrical and electronic equipmentProvide on-site diagnostics, repairs, and system upgrades for customersSupport U-Haul services and associated electronic installationsMaintain accurate service records and ensure a high level of customer satisfactionRequirements:Hands-on experience installing and servicing automotive and home electronic systemsSolid understanding of electrical circuits, diagnostics, and repair methodsFamiliarity with vehicle safety and telematics equipmentAbility to work independently and manage multiple service appointmentsStrong problem-solving and communication skillsValid driver's license with a clean driving recordAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environments (indoors, outdoors, inside vehicles)Certification in electronics or a related field is preferred but not requiredInterested in hearing more?
