Essential Functions/Duties Manage all plant specific and program specific Procurement needs, including series production, indirect purchasing, and facility / MRO needs. Lead RFQ process to quote supplier needs, negotiate pricing and terms, and properly contract all new business awards within defined budgets Interaction with the program team, plant, suppliers, and customers; participation in relevant team meetingsImplementation of purchasing processes and objectives within the programManaging and communication of all purchasing issues related to the program, including engineering change ordersDevelop and mange sourcing strategy in adherence with purchasing manager, duration of RFQ and lead on value analysis process, commercial negotiation, preparation of sourcing recommendation, finalisation and negotiation of purchasing-related contracts and agreements with suppliersManaging commercial details on all purchasing partsExplore the market for new materials, supplies and processes in order to develop new sources and/or generate cost benefits and/or risk reductionsCost Saving ***** Initiate projects that will lead to cost savingsEnsuring adequate contracted capacities at suppliersHas the ability to stop production, upon notifying the supervisor and Plant Manager for Safety related matters requiring immediate attention.Interaction with HBPO Operations and current production facilities for supplier-related topics throughout the program life.Understand and comply with company EHS policyStrong data analysis skills, ability to interpret data to make recommendations.
