General **Performs MRI examinations on pediatric patients, ensuring the production of quality diagnostic images.Essential Job *Operates MRI equipment to produce diagnostic images of patients internal structures.Prepares patients for MRI procedures by positioning them correctly and administering contrast media as required.Monitors patients during MRI scans to ensure their safety and comfort.Maintains accurate patient records and ensures that all images are properly labeled and stored.Maintains MRI equipment to ensure optimal image quality and patient safety.Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret MRI images and provide accurate diagnosis.**** Regular, reliable, and consistent attendance is an essential job fuunction. Employees are expected to perform work as scheduled.Education **Graduate of an accredited educational program for Radiologic Technology, required.Licensure *Active Status with the Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), required.*Current CPR Certification, required.ARRT certification (MRI) within 1 year of employment, required.Excellent communication and organization skills.Two years of clinical experience in the Radiologic Sciences, required.One year of experience in MRI procedures, preferred.Experience in pediatric setting, preferred.5 x 82 Day shift openings.Monday - Friday.Start Time is 7:30AM - 4PM.Time may be half hour later depending on staffing needs, 8AM - 4:30PM for Day Shift/1st Shift.1 Night shift opening.Monday - Friday.Start Time is 2:30PM - 11:30PM.Between those hours, 8 and half hour shifts for Evening Shift/2nd Shift.Weekend, call, and holiday rotation, required.*** Two years of clinical experience in the Radiologic Sciences, required.
