Logistics Accounting Clerk

Job Description Logistics company in the Baytown area looking to add a Logistics Accounting Clerk to the team.  Great opportunity to work for a company that values their employees. Required ***** At least 3-5 years work experience in accounting preferably in international transportation (Truck Transportation) MUST Have an understanding of how the workflow process for a logistic terminal works Good analytical skills and ability to take on own initiatives to further develop the role and processes Ability to work independently and in a team Accurately enter financial transactions into accounting software or spreadsheets. Maintain and update financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries. Excellent computer skills, SAP and Excel are a must Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting principles. Maintain confidentiality of financial information and adhere to data protection regulations. Prepare financial reports, such as trial balances and financial statements. Provide support for periodic financial audits and internal reviews. Process and verify invoices for payment. Match purchase orders with invoices and ensure proper approvals before processing.
